Please join us in our efforts to provide our public school students with a quality Music Education Program.

healthy music programs require well-funded schools

support hb65 - Increase the base student allocation (BSA)

Contact your state legislators HERE and tell them they MUST adequately fund our children’s education - support HB65 (scroll down and fill-in the “Who Represents Me?” tool).

Talking points and other information can be found HERE

Our schools are currently being funded at the lowest level in 20 years, and it's literally breaking the system. Cuts to music programs are not on the docket this year, but Fairbanks admin has already indicated they are willing to pursue cuts to elementary general music, PE, and library programs next year if state-funding remains flat.
